As a gay person, I've often struggled to find my place within the Catholic Church. Growing up, I felt like an outsider looking in, unsure of how to reconcile my sexual orientation with my faith. But as I began to explore the world of LGBTQ+ Catholics, I discovered a community that welcomed me with open arms and a deep understanding of my struggles.
I've learned that prayer is not just about asking for things, but also about listening to God's whispers. When I'm feeling lost or uncertain, I turn to my faith community for support and guidance. It's amazing how a simple phone call or message can bring me back to a place of peace and clarity.
I've come to realize that being gay is not something I need to apologize for. In fact, it's a beautiful part of who God created me to be. By embracing my true self, I've found a sense of freedom and joy that I never thought possible.
